not drunk. not dead.

It was a good thing we walked to sushi last night -- of course, anything else would have been silly.

Two glasses mulled wine before sushi. Together, amy and I went through three large sakes. and then they gave us a small on on the house!? my first "free beer" in an establishment, ever, I think. I don't understand.

So. umm. nauseated. think food will help some. going to try some cereal.

going into the city with amy to help make sure she doesn't get in a wreck. she had a bit more wine than me and was significantly more intoxicated therewith.

oy oy oy.

sushi for you and sushi for me
Warm sake is wonderful with sushi, I've found.
On a Saturday afternoon, sushi kicked up another notch with a bit of sake can make for a fantastic wanderlust...
Not only that, I had a lovely sushi place near to the laundrymat I frequented and it certainly made that chore more pleasurable...
But I digress...
What I was going to say was have you ever had sushi with champagne?
If I have more that a small amount of sake, the benefits of the sushi begin to diminish... quickly.
But as an evening dinner before going to the city, splitting a bottle of extra dry, not brut, champagne along with the succulent meal can make for a little kick of giddy energy that matches nicely with the natural high you get from the little fishes:-)

and you're not usually groping for carbohydrates near after... which really isn't what you wanted to do in the first place:-)
Wear your seatbelt!
and have a nice evening;-P
