I did manage to run (jog?) for 9 minutes, which isn't so bad. that's roughly twice my longest jog previous. It was roughly 2/3 downhill, as opposed to the five minutes uphill, but still.
Then I walked for seven minutes to home. Though what I should have done was walk BACK the way I came. That would make the following estimation much more interesting. Perhaps I'll jog then walk the opposite route to see how I do, tomorrow. I hadn't really determined what my route was going to be when I set out -- simply knew what it wasn't, then kept pushing myself further.
Okay, so: the walk home for seven minutes was roughly two thirds to three quarters of the jog home yesterday, which took five. so... 7x=(2/3)d; 5y=d; 7x=(10/3)y. (21/10)x=y. so I jog roughly twice my walking speed. That doesn't seem right. but then, near the end of that jog last night I was barely stumbling forward, so... sure, why not.
My ears are pounding in pain from dehydration and the base of my skull aches (from dehydration). :whee: off to drink.
Many thanks to
