Three paintings

[edit: the userpic is an older painting. ;) ]

It's apparently been over a year since the last time I painted. And it had been eons more since the time before that, before I painted with any sort of pretense of regularity.

The one that was completely fresh, I don't quite like--but it's growing on me. The two others were started a few months ago, but left to dry to be painted over. I think I did a great job salvaging them. :)

The Sun Wakes

Hungry Sea

Cosmic Heart Flare

(clicky to embiggen some--with a warning that they're not the best photos :/ )

haha Isn't there a saying somewhere or at least a... something about how the work you dislike the most might be the best you've ever done? Or something to that effect. ;) In my opinion, it really is a neat painting of something I would have never even dreamed of. And a lot of accidents are todays best inventions. ;)

Let it be known that your technical ability is far past mine. ;)

I seem to always visualize paintings or comics as if I was ever able to draw/paint. No problem dreaming up something for some reason. I do that often with stories or if I have an opinion about something that ends up being funny. Kind of makes me want to start another stick person webcomic for the internetz to moan about. lol. i don't know what the point of saying that was. I just typed. xD

You should. ;) You know, or work on a computer game. Or your writing. Or both. While skanking. On a football field ;)

there will be a time when you're going to have to ask me to stop programming and take a break. You wait and see. ;) And the writing is being worked on - sort of. In a way, I guess. :) and if I could skank. I'd be down on that floor quicker than quick...sand? Bad example.

And I need to learn how to use PaintShop Pro first. :P

learn by doing, learn by doing. :)

Actually you might have a more interesting time of things if you did your drawing in something less standard (just a random thought). Project Dogwaffle, maybe. :)
