Firefox extensions that make me squeal with girlish delight

SUPER DUPER AWESOME

X-Ray: see the rendered html inline with the layout tags and their styles and such
Web Developer: an oldie but goodie. Just lots of quick access to lots of cool/useful shit
FireBug: insane crazy awesome dom inspector/javascript console. So much happier than the built-in console. Oh man.
Tab Mix Plus: everything you ever wanted tabs to be able to do. configurable. many of its options I'm not interested in. Some of them annoyed me before I sat down and configured it. WONDERFUL! SESSION/CRASH TAB RECOVERY! WINDOW TAB MERGE! DUPLICATE TAB IN NEW TAB!

Just PLain Nifty

HostIP.info Geolocation Plugin: dhtml hover ip/geolookup/url info
Timestamp decode: Printing out debug values and you want to see what a timestamp is? Eh!? EH!?
Screen Grab: No more copypasting the full window into photoshop then cropping out the edges =) I think. Haven't tried it yet, tbh. I just grabbed a bunch a bunch a bunch of things.

like... View Source Chart, savegenpage, Domain Details, UrlParams, Cache Status, Remove Cookie(s) for site, MeasureIt, oh, and I grabbed ColorZilla again...

such wonderful stuff!

Finding and installing these left as an exercise for the reader...

Not knowing you, it's hard to imagine you squealing in girlish delight, but it's still a funny thought nonetheless.

And you're mean for leaving it up to me to go find some of these. :-)

What I'd like to see for firefox is an extension that provides an actual usable bookmark manager. As is, that's the reason I'm still on Mozilla-- Firefox's seems actually worse than IE's. :P

When was the last time you tried the built-in one for firefox?

I don't really use it myself, but it seems nice enough. Then, I am a bit scared by all of my bookmarks. Seems like organizing/reorganizing would be a weekend task at best, maybe a week-long task.

Firefox 2.0 is supposed to have 'tagging' for bookmarks. Thinking that's when I'll make the plunge.

About a month ago, I got a new machine at work, and decided to switch from Mozilla to Firefox while I was at it. Still just as bad as it was when I first tried it. :/

Maybe Mozilla's has spoiled me. But I tend to have (tens of?) thousands of bookmarks, so good management tools are a must.

I'd love to switch to FireFox from IE, but knowing my Dad, he's lazy and doesn't like change. Therefore I'd have to do it on my own.

What's keeping me from diving into the action is installing the security yourself. ur... seems silly, but that's me. :P
