A peek at the book on fictionwise

Out of the gate at #50, which is apparently better than previous; Janrae's books always hit the top list, so I'm looking forward to that. :)

awesome... but the pic on the site doesn't have my gore! =( does that mean they didn't use the gory version?

I don't know.

They were _definitely_ going with the gory version. ((which was also contrast-adjusted to be more visible, too))

It's also possible that a mishap occurred, and the wrong version ended up on the cover, sigh. It happened once before when I got Jean to change the color of the type on book four of Dark Brothers. She fixed the wrong numbering (she had it in roman numerials and it read six instead of four) and then when I pointed something else wrong, she fixed that too, and then, the book appeared at fictionwise without the latter fix because she got confused.

It is necessary remember that Jean is mildly dyslexic
