surreal events

I just figured out, I think, what type of fiction S11 represents. Everyone's saying it's out of a bad scifi book, but it's more than that. It's more absurd and unbelievable than that.

It really reminds me of Douglas Adams.

I mean... planes?

They might as well have been a whale and a potted petunia.

I guess the improbability just didn't quite kick in soon enough.
