Yeah - I think one of the major problems is that there isn't one single LJ-like place. Facebook has most of the people I'd like to talk to, but the types of news on its feeds is a bit less solid…

It's gotten really quiet here... But since LJ has the crosspost function, I still use it as the primary blog platform!
