jobhomework

I started looking at the homework and coudln't decide what to do.

answer: ask! there's nothing wrong with what I was thinking of doing, beyond it possibly being out of some sort of "purpose of assignment" bounds. so I did the "good developer" thing and asked. around midnight-thirty, about 18 hours before they want to have it.

five minutes later, I got an answer from the technical lead:

"Feel free to implement in any way you see fit, as long as you can defend
your decisions. There is so proper or improper answer."

This makes me so happy. It's a beautiful answer, and the fact that he was up and answering mail near 1am on a worknight makes me like him, and by extension the company.

is that so wrong?
