I give up! The meme wins.

Ask me three questions, no more, no less. Ask me anything you want. Then go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything.

Question #1: What was the song or tune playing when you lost your virginity?

Question #2: If stranded on a deserted island, besides the complete works of Shakespeare and the Bible, what three books would you want with you?

Question #3: Among those either dead or alive, who are the five people you would invite to a dinner party to-gether?

1) I don't believe there was music. It was the night before my 18th birthday, in my dorm room. I think my roommate was on vacation.

2) Could I swap out the bible or the complete works of shakespeare? ;)
"How Things Are Made: From Automobiles to Zippers" comes to mind immediately. hmm. As you can see, my goal would be to get out of there. How about an atlas that contained that area and surrounding, and a book on plants/animals/birds/insects native to the region? Or better yet, a blank book. Yes. Something to write on. I'll take that over the ... atlas.

3) Amazingly tough question. First to mind popped two friends who have yet to meet each other and both mean a lot to me (both named Kevin). Then 'Jesus of Nazareth' came to mind. Einstein. and my dad. Yes. That would be a good dinner.

Good questions!

Yeah, well.

Einstein's certainly popularized enough as an interesting fellow, and I'd like to hear Jesus' thoughts on a) his life as it happened, b) the history of christianity and its present day structure, and what he would do with it if he could, or what he might have done differently back then, depending. c) yeah, okay, life after death and all that; d) I forget, but it was a good discussion topic, really. Hmm. Oh yeah, what he thought of _The Screwtape Letters_. ;)

And my friends and dad because they're all interesting folks that would probably go down tangents I would never have considered, that will in turn lead me to tangents they never would have considered, and so on.

ok this is me living in my own little world. inside of my own inside joke. well not really inside joke. its a reference to the film ADAPTATION. there were so few people who got the humor and irony in that movie. but nevermind.

haven't seen it--meant to, though I really don't know anything about it.

It's on my list, still.

Yeah, personally, I'd like to see Adolf Hitler (ithout guards, without protection, without defenses) at a dinner party with the Fab 5.

ahem.

What is your favourite item you own?

What would you consider to be your greatest achievement?

Would you rather slay dragons or vampires?

1) my mind. well, it's mostly mine. ;)
2) existing. ... to date, poemranker, I think. though I could always take the sap route and say 'my friends'. Or Amy. But I don't think these are 'achievements', (and they're not the answer to #1 because I don't own them), they just are, and I am happy for them. So I'll run with 'poemranker'.
3) vampires. there's the chance I could become one and live forever, and I'd just feel wrong killing dragons. At least vampires are 'inherently wrong and evil'.

:)

1) full birthday in userinfo. would you like another question, or just want me to do the math for you? ;)
2) by "times seen", _Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure_. By "need to force on other people", ... _Six String Samurai_. By "thought-invoking", _Brazil_ comes to mind. I'm sure I'm missing something. I'm not good with favorites. It took me twenty-some years to realize my favorite color was green, after thinking it was "black and red and silver and fluorescents" for so long.
3) Nothing better to do, and a morbid sense of curiosity.

If you had unlimited resources and knowhow to design a game, what kind of game would it be, and what qualities would it have to guarantee its success?

If you consider all of the potential of mankind, and all of its history, what would you consider to be a) the biggest holdback from man reaching its potential and b) the biggest push to man towards his potential?

What's your favorite kind of candy?

1) that would be telling! there's some things I'm still just hoping to succeed at that I don't want to talk about. But, say... something dark and bright and psychedelic... make it a MMORPG, just because. And make it a topographically fractal, with the ability of explorers to change to any size and thus experience the world from an infinite array of perspectives. Make it auto-populate/grow according to set rules, allow for internal creation of communities, art forms, ... Qualities to guarantee its success: cult. cult cult cult. cult. and very fun, intriguing gameplay.

2) a) history; things that are because they are that way; religion? b) boredom and fear

3) sour-straw type things. then sour things. then dark chocolates.

1) You're stranded on a deserted island somewhere south of luck. After scouting out the area you find a cache of music and a boombox with an endless supply of battery power. Digging through the music, you find that many of the albums begin to crumble to dust with age... all but three, that is. What albums are those!?!

2) Question the second: You've got a stray hair somewhere... is it really attached!?!

3) And finally, the question three: What IS a good hair day?!?

1) Slayer's _South of Heaven_, Phish's _Hoist_, and ... Velved Acid Christ's _Fun With Knives_

2) probably

3) just about every day, though I prefer it when the ends feel a little less like horse-hair.

1) If you HAD to choose one of the following, which would it be:
losing your sight or losing your hearing

2) Aside from those you already possess, what superpower would you choose? (You may only choose one additional.)

3) Describe briefly the single sexiest non-sexual moment of your life.

1) hearing. I'm very visual, and while I don't do well without music in my head, I can imagine it well enough to entertain myself. Plus it would be a LOT harder to get around in the world without sight.

2) eternal life/health.

3) nothing's coming to mind, I'm afraid. Buying my current motorcycle? Maybe poemranker making yahoo's pick of the day. Seeing in print the first copy of NFG. Hard to say. I'm not feeling any of those answers as strongly as I'd like.
