yet another 'falling up' update..

I still need to make the webpage clean. But. I figured out the os x .app system well enough to make one. So you can play Falling Up on os x without needing to use the terminal. You can't play it on the actual dmg, you need to copy it off (the dmg is read-only. maybe I can make it read-write to get around that?) http://erif.org/code/fallingup/ as ever.

its workin on the thinkpad! win2k pro

its a bit maddening, I'd say - I still need to verify if sound is working (ver 3.0) - maddening is fine, because I think I can play better next time.

the sound really helps play the game, imo. the heartbeat helps set the pace. :)

So I need to make it harder...

is 14 a pause level or a rotate level? (if it's pause, then 15 is rotate... if it's rotate, then it's the last, can't remember). In either case, what should come next? ;)

14 is like "breather 2" or something similar. basically stacks on top, but it's faster.

I was doing good until I made ONE little mistake, then blam blam blam blam CRAP!

Actually, looking at the code, breather 2 is the last level. I myself haven't made it very far on it. It does indeed steamroll at the slightest provocation. I don't think I've made the eight lines or so requisite for the next 'roller coaster'. Maybe things need to be going slower then, still? So many variables to tweak!

dunno, I think the speed was good, especially since that was my first grab at it tonight.

Granted, I have been playing tetris several times a day on the m130.

I was wondering if you might be able to port at least part of your code over to palm - but I think the moving images would just submarine on the lcd. I have a book reader that does that; if you autoscroll too quickly (like game rate) it is pretty much unreadable because it all bleeds into the background.
