starcraft

I made a Hunters-based map. It's pretty... down and dirty. And down. And dirty.

basically it sets up each pair of the eight players in base chokepoints... and then those four lead out into the center, which is moderately gas/mineral rich.

amy and I can usually, at this point, take three computers easily. this map is... hell. :) a very nice hell. we played as terran and zerg versus two protoss and a zerg... probably seven times. lost each one.

learned a bit, but still lost. quickly, even. we haven't made it past the first chokepoint yet.

I reinstalled broodwars on saturday and I've been pretty much taking breaks only to sleep since =) I think my main weakness right now is speed-- other players on bnet seem to be able to build a lot faster than I. Must work on that...

apatheticenough, denonymous, deadbabydisco and rage_or_riot are all into Starcraft, if you wanna proposition them for a game sometime. =)

Thanks, I might say hello. I'm always nervous about playing with people I don't know. I'm not... obsessive-type-awesome at the game. Or any game, really.

Hell, I'm nervous about being perceived as a loser whenever I go out of my way to meet someone. Couldn't say why--it doesn't seem to make any sense. I mean, what does it really matter?

Eh.

La la la. :)

The only rationalization I can think of is a effort vs. response function. I like to minimize it. :)
